Buddies boy shot a doe yesterday hit it in the front of the shoulder and came out the brisket. He told me they was looking for it so I decided to ride over. Thought what the heck gonna take my dog with me just to see what happens. They had trailed it about 200 yards when I got there and blood was getting kinda thin. I let the dog smell and lick a bloody leaf and joking said find the deer. She ran around a second and took off down a powerline then turned up in the woods and over the hill. We saw blood on the powerline but didn't find any going up in the woods so kept trying to track it for a few minutes. Long story short she came back with a little blood on her so I started following her back. As I was going behind her I started seeing blood. Then she jumped straight up a few times like she saw a squirrel and took off. Barked a couple time and I started the way she was. Got to where I could see her and there she was standing over the deer looking at me. May be a fluke but im gonna try her next chance I get.

It’s where we was Awe man I want in next year!Jamie let it go and we didn't have opportunity to stay in.I'm hunting the old Rock Creek club across from y'all this year but it's not as good as that y'all have.we are the 900 acre's from Rock Creek north along valley Creek.I always hung around sign in board at lunch time and your dad was my favorite person to talk to super nice great guy and easy to get along with.im Lee's brother in law I guess that's what I call him anyways.lol I'll get back with you this spring hopefully spot will open.good luck

Had my German Shepard find two just like that. He jumped the first one and she ended up getting away. He found the second one on a morning after I shot a small 8 point and it got into some thick stuff on the bank of a spring. Im so impressed by this breed. I believe mine has super powers lol.
