Auburn had to play 5 top ten teams this year so it's a little different. And it is just my opinion but Bama is nowhere near a top ten team this year. I know reality just won't set in for you guys but they have zero quality wins and gave up over 40 pts to LSU (at home and with the exalted Tua in play) and Auburn both. Bama is not top 10 by any stretch of the imagination. You can claim luck and voodoo or beat themselves or whatever but to the rest of us it is clear they just don't have it this year. And just so all of my fellow aldeer members know, one of my oldest and best friends is the most obnoxious bammers you could ever imagine and we jab each other and move on. My point is this is all light hearted for me because it is just a bunch of 20 year old kids playing a game. If my posts offend any bammers, well good.

I don't care how good your offense is, a weak D puts you out of the CFP picture. The one thing I will say about Saban slipping is that he better get that temper under control. If this is the beginning of the end as some people are saying. It was the best run college football has ever seen, and I enjoyed every minute of it. It further cemented Alabama as the greatest football program of all time. I guess Bama fans can live with that. And rest of you can live with cheering for a second tier team that will never measure up in any way to the elite programs in college football.
