Why does Sabin blame the refs every loss? You talking about the last play is AU going to punt offense still on the field smoke screen?

Bo>macaroni Jones last night I would have taken Mac. Bo did make 3 unreal throws in a row other than that he was very average. Still a good player though.

Why not instill confidence in your players?
Championships are the expectation every year at Auburn.
Championships are not the expectation every yr at Auburn. They fired the only guy to win one in 50 yrs. And instill confidence may be the plan but it sure has not worked everytime he talked up QBs before. What about the rest of the team he never talks about them just that Bo is gonna win the championship. Bo is one of about 40 that play in the game

Bo>macaroni Jones last night Bo was 15/30, he did run the ball good though, for 44yds. 15/30 is not greater than much. 44yds aint that much either Jones was 26/39 for 335yds and 32yds running the ball. I would say auburn won in spite of their qbs performance. But you are correct about one thing, he can count better than 12 men on bamas team can.

I’m still not sold on Bo and now all we hear is how Gus is a genius. Gus got lucky and saved his job last night so next year we’ll go 8-4 and everyone will be btchng again

I want all of y’all to know I am an Auburn fan I have always pulled for them because they were the underdogs and I am not a fan of Saban BUT I am afraid something is wrong with Saban either physically, mentally or spiritually. He does not act himself anymore. I am not a fan of him but I don’t wish him any bad luck or health 🙏

Championships are the expectation every year at Auburn.
There are more than fans listening to what he says. This is a big recruiting weekend.
Bo played his best game last night. I’d call that development. 😂Two in the last 120 years man that’s a lot of of disappointment.

Macaroni had 2 pick 6’s. Nice to leave that part out tho Yep and Bo should have had 1 pick 6 and two other ints. But bama d just dropped the ball. Speaking of dropping balls that's all Juedy ever seems to do in big games. Anyone else notice that.

Macaroni had 2 pick 6’s. Nice to leave that part out tho I guess I figured everybody would remember that just fine. So what youre saying is jones accounted for almost as many of auburns points as bo did?

I was amazed the the Bama O had so much success running the ball and pass protecting Jones. I really figured the D for Auburn would be dominate. To bad we have a center that cant hear the snap signal when we get in the red zone. Guess that's why he could not play for FSU when he was there.

Reckon what the stats would have been if Bo had Mac's receivers and vice-vesa? Bo makes some freshman throws every game but he doesn’t have the luxury of having receivers that will go and get it like Tua and Mac. Seth Williams drops passes that that Bama’s receivers make with their eyes closed. He’ll get lazy once in a while too. Saw it last night. Acted like he wasn’t even in on a couple plays and Bo tried to get him the ball on at least one of those.

I love the excuses. Keep em flowing. Like your mullets Dont need excuses this year. Everyone knew Bama was in trouble with all the injuries. They caught up to Bama this year but it was a heck of a fun season and amazingly the worst season we have had in a decade. Luckily we played a soft schedule or we could have had 4 or so losses which would be unheard of and the sky would be falling.

Bamas still #1, at missing fieldgoals. The problem is not the kicker, hadn’t you bamers figured it out? It’s the holders fault. It’s laces out, laces out, laces out bamer

What did he do? Screaming cuss words at the top of his lungs, using the Lords name in vane. Not a big deal to most people these days. Not a good example to our kids in my opinion. The man does claim to care about and do alot for kids(nicks kids), he should try to tame his tongue in front of the camera atleast.

Saban has never struck me as a Class Act. . I'm pretty sure he never struck anyone as a class act. He makes it very clear that he has zero class. In fact most people who know him say he's an arrogant indignant prick. However, he is a head football coach, not a Tibetan Munk. The job doesn't require class or polite manners.

Don't discount Gus going to Arkansas, even with the win. Anyone who believes Auburn would demand all $7 million he would owe is dreaming.

Too many of them are content and don't expect more or believe more can be achieved. When it is, they don't know how to handle it. That's been proven time and again if you look at Auburn's history, other than the 1980s during Dye's tenure.

I know that waddle kid is a beast. If not for him it woulda been a rout down there at AU Our screw ups gave y’all the game. Y’all capitalized on our screws up and won. But not big like y’all should have. Have fun with Gus for 5 more years and losing your defense after this year. Of course the official we beat ourselves Auburn didn't beat us. Never ceases... It cant cease cause it is true in nearly every loss and has been for a decade. The kick 6 game Auburn was a better team and whipped Bama (everyone knew Auburn would win in OT), last year Clemson whipped Bama, Ohio State whipped Bama. Besides those 3 games I cant think of any others Alabama did not beat themselves with a multitude of unusual events leading to defeat.

Alabama should go to the playoffs because they have have beaten Alabama twice this year. They could play themselves for the championship. Wonder who'd get the blame for that loss? 😆

MOST football games between teams that are closely matched are lost by the team who makes the most mistakes. Turnovers, penalties, dropped passes, missed blocks and so forth. Been that way as long as the game has been played and not a situation unique to the Gumps.

Nope, I'm not satisfied at all with where the program is now or the future outlook. I was disappointed that fans thought the victory last night was worthy of rushing the field. Winning that game was the difference between finishing 5-3 and 4-4 in conference play, and that damn sure ain't what I want our program to celebrate.

FWIW, I have a friend and former Chief that went to be the chief at Northport for many years. He said that Saban invited he and the other local chiefs and sheriffs to his house for supper one night. He says, surprisingly to me, that Saban was a very cordial and engaging person. Not at all what you would expect. I guess he can turn on the charm when needed, especially with recruits.
The whole purpose of the meeting was clear, but not explicit. Saban wanted to be the first to know when one of the players got arrested and it would be appreciated if they would let him handle the discipline. Depending on the infraction, this will do more for the kid than any judge so I have no issue with it, morally. I know Coach Dye had the same arrangement in his time at AU and what his players went through when they got in trouble was worse than anything the municipal jail had for them. I could see half the stadium from my first apartment at AU and saw several of the boneheads running stadiums wearing gloves and toting cement blocks. Some of y'all might remember the Wishbone Fullback, Ron "BBQ" O'Neil. Looked like a bowling ball with little short legs. No surprise that he only lasted a football season before grades and everything else told him college wasn't his future. As proof AU didn't buy recruits cars, BBQ had a 60's model piece of junk that he drove. He decided he wanted blacked out windows on it, so a trip to WalMart for a few cans of black spray paint later, he had his windows. That got him some stadiums and a very cold ride in Winter since the windows had to be down in order to see anything..
Also, Chief Green also thought it is odd that a man refers to his wife as Miss Terry all the time, which he even does at home. Somewhere deep down there is an issue with that and it would take some deep therapy to figure it out.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

At this point, that might be the best thing for him and AU. The constant unsettledness is becoming too much of a distraction every year. I don't know of an established coach that is a realistic replacement that could do better in the SEC right now, so AU would have to just roll the dice on a young up and comer. This usually doesn't work out in the SEC, but it might. That is how Dye came to AU so it can work, but that is also how they got Barfield.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Saban not a saint but gus acts a fool also never have i saw gus get onto his players for a penalty Since 2009 we have lost 2 regular season games how teams in the country can say that. And by the way we do get to see what it is like being a barner by not going to the playoffs
You lost three in 2010. Your post rambles so much it's hard to read. Gus gets on his players but mostly lets the other coaches get on players. Sorry Saban can't count and it's unfair he can't.

Also, Chief Green also thought it is odd that a man refers to his wife as Miss Terry all the time, which he even does at home. Somewhere deep down there is an issue with that and it would take some deep therapy to figure it out. What... So you're Dr. Phil now? I think that would be classified as a "term of endearment" for someone you love and is perfectly normal. ... Now totally psyching our every field goal kicker that you have ever recruited is not normal. No, it is not normal to use a term of endearment in every situation. They have names and that is how they are normally introduced. I don't have to be Dr. Phil to know that, although I bet I've probably had as many psych classes, or close to it, as Dr. Phil.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Is “miss” a term of endearment? I think it’s extremely weird. Doesn’t Miss traditionally mean an unmarried woman?

All that really matters is that awburn fans are really happy to go 9-3, 8-4 every year and occasionally beat Bama. So congrats on a very successful season I don't think AU fans are satisfied with 9-3 or 8-4 and beating Bama every now and then. The idiots that renew Gus's contracts are though. This^^^^

A guess here, but since day 1 his players probably started referring to his wife as Miss Terry, or Mrs. Terry or whatever it is. Maybe he started it, maybe the players started it. The “Miss or Mrs.” is a term of respect and by using her first name it’s a lot less “authoritive”.. a little more friendly than Mrs.Saban. To me it’s no more different than a grandpa referring to his wife as “Grandma, MeMaw, GiGi, Nanna”or whatever his grandkids call his wife. Irishguy refers to his lady as Mrs.Irish. None of us have ever thought that was odd. I guess because most of us have never met him or his lady...majority of us have never met Nick or his wife either.

This^^^^ Yea, rushing the field for beating a team that the majority of Auburn fans felt were overrated or etc makes rushing the field seem a little forced and hollow, but they won, so they had that option. The kick six win was worthy of rushing the field.. the way that the game ended, ruining championship hopes, securing their own chance at a title and etc. The fans rushed the field for beating a team that had no chance at an SEC title and what was essentially no chance at making a playoff appearance. I didn’t get it, but I’m not a fambly member. Fans rushing the field all but guaranteed that Gus isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

That's actually very disturbing and you definitely have issues. No problem if that is what he calls her around the house, but if he introduces her to other adults as that, yes, something is bizarre. Not necessarily in a bad way, but certainly not normal.

I only call her Mrs. Irish on here. At home I usually call her "Pooh Bear" or "Pumpkin." So I guess Jawbone's judgement as to my mental fitness should begin immediately.

I want all of y’all to know I am an Auburn fan I have always pulled for them because they were the underdogs and I am not a fan of Saban BUT I am afraid something is wrong with Saban either physically, mentally or spiritually. He does not act himself anymore. I am not a fan of him but I don’t wish him any bad luck or health 🙏 I was thinking the EXACT same thing most of this season. He does not appear to be himself. I'm not a fan either, however I do love college football and of course follow AU and UA pretty close. Saban's actions, responses, and mannerisms are a bit off. Sorry, I work in the medical field and tend to be acutely aware of changes such as those mentioned. Something just ain't right.

Not necessarily in a bad way, but certainly not normal. In a private setting he does not introduce her that way. In the public setting, especially the "football" setting, he most of the time refers to her as "Miss Terry".
