Grizzly stick had some of their momentum TDT (thin diameter tapered) arrows on sale last week and I've been wanting to build a heavier arrow anyway so I figured why not and ordered a half dozen to try. They look good, not sure how they'll perform but we'll see. Going to put blazer vanes and wraps on them and probably tip them out with a 125gr slick trick magnum.

Out of curiosity, did you compare pricing with Victory arrows since that's who makes them? I didn't bother when I was pricing them for some reason

They're tapered with the thicker end being in the front of the arrow to have more weight forward of center. Supposedly makes them fly like darts and hit like a train. We shall see.

11.5 GPI with a 68gr insert/outsert. I'm planning on shooting for around 550 gr final weight.

I didn't. These were actually on a factory second sale at $49/ half dozen. Said that the blemish was that they were a couple thousands out of their straightness tolerances but that the blem part was in the last inch or so of shaft and could be cut off when cutting to length.

Where’d you order those from? I’d like to try them. I want to build a heavier arrow as well.
