My wife bought me a SPYPOINT and I’ve been watching the same 9 deer, bucks and doe and fawn on a field since mid September Every morning they start filing in at 7:55-8 am and gone by 10 then by 2 they file back in and stay till 6-630. It changed a couple times when it was raining
Thursday night they changed to 8:15-9:15 pm -1-1:30 am period. Not even a doe or fawn in the daylight. A coincidence? Someone on your land, or nearby, has just put out the feeders and cameras and checking them everyday.
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

They do the same thing at our farm around the same time each year. I've ran cameras for 14 or 15 years now. My first one used 35mm film and had a flash. We've never, I repeat never, killed a deer up there (not because there aren't any or we cant, we want it low pressure) I hunted a big one one time, but never shot at a deer, and hunt it very little. Our immediate neighbors dont hunt, but they have let people hunt their land in the past, although very very seldom. Beyond them I dont know. Before they go nocturnal every year, I occasionally see them in the field when I'm checkin cameras or something, but they typically just run to the other end of the field without leaving. They know I'm not a threat. But come late Nov or Dec, they're moving at night. Part of it is that some have a different winter range, and ill see them again come spring, but some stay.

I had a nice 3yr old 8 on camera almost every day until last week. It will drive you crazy when they just disappear.
Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

the pattern change is what the whole season dates are based on. that's why they set the dates the way they do. it starts getting to cold to be sedentary through the night so they are on the move and not so much in the day when its warmer.

They are still there. The crazier you get about finding them the harder it will be. I don’t get crazy about it, i just enjoy being outdoors and let life happen. I spend 99% of the season that I get to go helping someone else as much as I can. Could care less if I ever kill another one. People get so wrapped up in them horns and fights about what the neighbors are doing that they don’t know how to enjoy it anymore
