I know better than that. I've had my ass whipped by several much smaller than that brute. A couple a hell of a lot smaller. grin

My uncle had the bright idea to drown a doe swimming lake Martin one time. They pulled up beside her in the boat and he tried to hold her head under. He learned his lesson real quick and decided to let her go on about her way. Said she bout beat him to death with those front legs.

Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

You want to go in circle like a bull fighter does till he gets tired. He can't kick to the side. I shot one buck but he came back to life as I was dragging him. I kept him in a circle till I got out my knife out and killed him.

We had a 4 year old doe get loose inside a handling facility a few years ago and it was a dang rodeo. They are unbelievable strong and will hurt you bad before you know it. I have had to down a few that were half medicated and they can still give you all you want, and I won’t even think about it if they have hard antlers we just back up and hit them with another dart safer for both that way.

Back in my younger days I'd put him on the ground in a minute.
Now ,,,, letting him go is a different thing since I ain't gonna kill it.
