Got a # 4 Trebble in the mouth and one in the paw. Had a rat, spinnerbait, crank bait, box of treble and a crankbait with the hooks ripped off it out in the yard when I looked out the back door this morning.

That’s always been one of my fears.

Vet just got them out. I could not get em out. This dog has been a mess. Maybe just maybe she will learn a lesson but I doubt it. Sweet hard working striving to please dog but mischievous is an understatement

I take my little dog fishing all the time. I can’t believe she hasn’t gotten one yet. She loves walking all over the front deck.

My daughters dog swallowed a hook. Didn't do a thing for him. He is still alive and kicking.

I watched a dog of mine drag a zebco 33 a few hundred yards with a spinner bait in the side of his mouth. It was hell catching that rascal lol.

Just last week I got home and there was a 100 pack of crappie jigs laying in my recliner. I was about to ask my son and wife if they’d put them there when I picked up the pack and noticed it had been chewed on. The beagle was guilty. The beagle is always guilty.

Had a stray cat take up residence at the house. Fast forward a few years, one of the kids had a box full of crankbaits in the basement. Something scared the cat, jumped in the box of crankbaits. ER vet removed 5 lures from the cat.

See now we’ve crossed the line. Dogs can go to the vet, cats shouldn’t. You could have given that cat a tranquilizer and removed the hooks yourself. A .22 to the noggin works to keep them still for such surgical procedures

Happened to mine one time, now every time I get out a rod and reel, he goes and hides. Learned his lesson I guess.

My german shepherd was on my boat walking around. Short story. He got a #4 brim hook in his ear. Barb stuck through and all. Well wife was outta town. I had no one to help me so i left it in his ear for 1 day til she got back to help me hold him so i could cut it and remove it. Next evening im fixin a water leak under my house at 8pm. Had to be at work at 6am next day so i was mad. Had no water and a lot of soldering to do. In a hurry. So i walk past my dog in my garage and my middle felt a prick. I immediately knew what it was so i jerked my arm straight up. When i did...it set the hook perfectly in my finger. Dog yelped and i did took. So it jerked it out of my dogs ear and into my hand. I was pissed. Cost me a $250 e.r copay and no sleep this last summer.

Last year my son cast a crank bait into my wifes ear. The barb went through her upper ear. They were fishing without me due to work. Her tough arse went and had a girl rip it out. Im a baby when it comes to cuts and poking. The numbing shot hurt my finger. The doctor felt like he was pulling my finger off although i couldn't feel anything if that makes sense lol. Right after it felt like my finger was just gonna explode though.

Just be thankful BIRDCARVER didn't catch your dog because you'd see it hanging on a fence! He don't throw nuthin back!
