Alabama is the craziest state in the country (not counting Florida) when it comes to the rut. Depending on where you are, the rut may be in November, December, January, or February. If you hunt near the Chattahoochie River as I do, you may not even have a defined period that you can call the rut, yet right across the river in Georgia they are in peak rut and it is wide open right now.

He's prolly the gay friend. Ha. Him and a buddy dogged them all night around the feeder. 104 pics last night. 238 total on 2 cameras. Gonna be fun on youth weekend for my kids I hope
