I wouldn’t describe Auburn as full of Democrats. Some, yes...but not nearly as heavy as Bama.
Quit kidding yourself. The average 40 year old Bama fan wouldn’t fit in at UA in 2019. Your president has made recruiting out of state students a priority.
You're right I'm nearing 40 and would not fit in with ANY college age kids 🤣
How many people am i willing to sacrifice for freedom? Everyone. All of them...
Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!

The President hasn't made it that way..... the national recognition of the Culverhouse School of Commerce (business school) has attracted out of state students. Do a little research. As much as your hate for all things Bama blinds you that's a highly sought after public school Business Degree. You may want to try a little research yourself: Search Results Featured snippet from the web UA has made ten times as many out-of-state recruiting visits as in-state visits, the report found. Of the 4,349 off-campus recruiting visits made by UA in 2017, only 392 visits – or 9 percent of all visits – took place in Alabama. And those 392 visits, only covered 33 percent of Alabama public high schools. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.al.com/news/2019/03/ua-is-extreme-case-of-state-schools-recruiting-out-of-state-residents-report-finds.html%3foutputType=amp

that article only cites undergraduate.... pretty convenient and typical for the liberal rag al.com (which I'm not surprised an Aubie is citing). I cited all enrollees directly from each colleges website.

Is there a Problem with having out of state students attend your University? They are allowed to do this, right?
We got people on here debating about which school has more liberals and which school has more out of state students. It’s that time of year when the fambly have gave up all hope of the football season that they were promised and start the “I’m gonna create an argument that I think everyone cares about”
Having the President of The United States on your property, College Campus, on your Street, in your state, in your car or wherever it may be is a thing to be proud of. I won’t be at the ballgame. I quit public sporting events long ago, but I am proud that our State has something interesting enough to offer that the President feels compelled to visit.
The fool tells me his reasons; the wise man persuades me with my own.

Probably harder to get into AU grad school I would guess. Don't you think if that was the case they would have accolades similar to Bama's then? Just doesn't make sense.

Was listening to some shows on the radio today about the visit and started thinking about what they have to check for security.
Normal stuff - all the pipes, sewer systems, elevators, internal areas in the stadium, sightlines outside the stadium, setting up phone lines, anything that could be a potential threat to DJT
Extra stuff - all the food and beverages in the boxes being brought into the stadium, all the bags for fans-workers-security-media, the lockerooms and all the equipment, everything that would be on the sidelines like team boxes and stuff (anywhere something could be hidden)
Having a president representing the United States at an event is cool. But man, the logistics of a visit like Saturday must be insane.
My father in law was in charge of the state trooper security detail that worked with the FBI bomb techs on Gameday security at Bryant-Denny. Pretty much everything you just mentioned is done every game day. It is not done by the Secret Service though. They take thorough to a whole different level. I spent every day working with them for about a month before Clinton came to Selma. We went through all kinds of details that I never would have thought about in a million years. They were fun to work with and as nice as they could be, but on "gameday", which was their lingo, they were the most serious and uptight group of people I've ever been around. They said the detail in Selma was one of the more problematic for them because there were so many areas they had to cover. There was the airport, the convoy, the march route over the bridge (that is what concerned them the most) and the foot of the bridge where he made a speech. I have no idea obviously what Trump's plan are for his appearance, but I can assure you, they will be uptight about it and have been working hard on preparations long before it was officially announced that he was coming. One of the more interesting, if you want to call it that, ways that they will handle things is, if someone has made a threat to Trump and may go to the game, they will be picked up on Friday and held on a 72 hour mental evaluation hold. They did several of our local residents that way on Clinton's visit. That surprised me but they have that authority, or at least the means to make it happen. When he was post commander in Decatur he also worked with the Secret Service for Bush 2 coming to Brownsferry and Cheney coming for the campaign. A few family members got to go out the night before Bush’s arrival and meet the Secret Service detail on the ground and see Marine 1 and the motorcade. I was lucky enough to attend that. My FIL was responsible for showing them 3 motorcade routes to Brownsferry that he would lead and he didn’t know which one until the door shut with Bush in the limo. They never even used Marine 1, it was a JIC item. Funny story my wife’s friend saved the number from the presidential limo in her phone and she was going to call it the next day. When she woke up in the morning the number had been deleted out of her phone. They had every base covered. They will have bases covered that you never would have thought of. The limo is as bullet proof and bomb proof as possible. We were allowed to look in it but no gpoing in it and no pictures. There will also be a couple of Black SUVs that travel with it. One will contain a mechanic and enough parts to almost build another limo on the street. The other will contain a lot of very badass men with badass weaponry. When I saw them unloading it looked like clowns piling out of a Volkswagen there were so many. I wish I had counted but by the time it caught my attention, a lot of them were out and on the move. If you attend the game and see an empty parking place that is barricaded off with signs that say "No parking, private lot" don't be surprised. I noticed one close to where Clinton spoke and knew that wasn't right. I made mention of it to the Agent riding with me, who was in charge of the Motorcade. He said, no that was theirs and that is one of the helicopter landing zones. They will also shut down and take over Druid City ER for a brief time. The regular drs. and nurses will get a break as the ER will be manned by Naval doctors and nurses for the duration of the game. Cases will be routed to other hospitals. You are absolutely correct about several possible routes. I was honored to be chosen to drive the Pilot Car. It was a regular marked police car and I was accompanied by the Secret Service Agent in charge of the Motorcade. The limo followed me. They have someone local drive the Pilot car on the correct theory that I would know how to get from point A to point B the fastest if something happened. There were several designated helicopter landing sites and Fallout shelters already staged if something happened. The actually football field may even be one of the helicopter landing sites in case of an emergency. During the visit, all traffic was shut down on the highways, no river traffic was allowed (which is done every year for the march), and no railroad traffic allowed through town. In fact, Norfolk Southern has always parked cars they weren't using that day by Craig Field (the airport). On the night before the visit they parked two or three across from the entrance. When the Agent with me spotted them on our way to get a special radio installed in my car on the morning of the visit, he went ballistic. All he could do is call for a bunch of bad looking men and dogs to come and sweep them. Seems someone told the railroad not to pull a train through town but forgot to tell them they couldn't drop cars where they normally do. Someone took an ass chewing over that.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Welp, mine isn't going to either of the in state institutions. Mainly because even with out of state tuition, ut martin is $6-8k less than either au or ua.
The harder I practice, the luckier I get.
