A hog is a very hard animal to judge the weight of in person but especially by pictures. Being that things are slow around here right now I figured I would post a few pictures of hogs that were weighed on scales and the closest guess to weight wins the title of 2019 Official Aldeer Hog Weight Guesser.

He looks pretty thick, I'm gonna guess 231#.

1. 196#
2. 271# no long arming and hog is thick top to bottom and about 6'6" snout to the feet I killed a Barr that was just a tad longer and went 290..
3. 225# good frame but not fat

Of course there is always a remote chance the pics are all of the same hog and if so I'm in for 211#

3.241...... nut sack is 50lbs.

Wow....complete guessing but big hogs for sure. Cutters on the first one are for real.

#3 was 145 I killed him on the 17th while squirrel hunting because he was to photogenic. I don’t normally shoot boars but I had 1700 pictures in 4 days of just him.

Why not shoot boars?

If I shoot a hog most of the time it is for my family to eat and we only eat sows or Barrs. I very seldom shoot hogs especially during deer season to keep the pressure down and because everyone wants a hog until you kill it. Then they only want it if it’s skinned. When deer and turkey season isn’t in I kill everything I catch and give the meat away unless it’s to hot.

When deer season goes out you are more than welcome to come make a hunt. You can even bring them big buck killing sons of yours.

Thanks BayedUp. Those are some fine hogs. We better leave the boys at home. They'll be pilfering around your hunting places looking for buck sign or duck holes.

I will give it a shot. First of all, I don't think that is the same hog in the two pictures. I would guess that the dead hog weighs 150#s and the live hog weighs somewhere in the 240# range. The dead hog does have a fine set of teeth if the other side matches the visible side.

It is the same hog. He had a split ear, you can barely see it in the game camera pic. My guess was 250ish. I know two grown men and one 12 year old could only get it about 20 feet before we decided to just cut his head off and do a euro mount. Still don’t know what I was going to do with it if we would have gotten him to the truck, 😂

My son weighed probably about 100-110 then
