A buddy and I both were selected for 10/31 Portland hunt. Probably won’t either one of us get it when they redraw Sounds like everyone and their brother got selected for that hunt... The emotional toll this has taken on me is too great. I deserve compensation in the form of a free lifetime license #metoo

I didn’t see the FB post or read this thread. I’ll be at Portland Landing on 10/31. I’ve got an email to prove it 😀

I bought a hunting license and WMA license after it said I was drawn for Crow Creek 11/1. Dayum. Just dayum.

The SOAs are paid for with WMA funding and yet these people are only willing to pay the measly $18 if they actually get to hunt pristine property for three days and aren't willing to invest anything more into said property otherwise? Give me a break. I'm sure it costs more than $18 per hunter to manage these hunts. I'll say it again, a wma permit should be required to enter SOA draws.

I just checked my wifes registration and it's still showing as "Hunter" for the 11/7 portland landing hunt that was supposedly an error. And we haven't gotten the first correction email, they're just doing updates through facebook. Poor choice on the states part IMO. I feel like their gonna have people show up the day of the hunts that don't know they're not supposed to be there. I was curious if this was the case or not. Not everyone has Facebook, but everyone who entered would definitely have a email

what a chitshow. running damage control on facebook is like putting out fires with high octane non-ethanol fuel.
I'll say it again, a wma permit should be required to enter SOA draws.
the lack of this requirement makes me question the ability of the ALDCNR to do anything effectively.
