Went around the track in a rail buggy I had many years ago. It would do 120mph and it felt like I was going 40 on the track. Would love to do the racing thing. Post up some pics.

Yes, I did it 15 years ago. Really cool. I got up to about 155 mph. The Dale Jarrett driving experience would let people get up to like 180.

I got a speeding ticket afterwards on the way home. slap

Did it at Atlanta years ago. It was a Blast!

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

I just found out that my buddies at KYSEK coolers are there. I might ride over tomorrow and see them.

The crew that runs the Dale Jarrette experience was at my church Sunday morning. I talked with them for quiet some time. They told me the cars have a gov on them and you aint going over 150, insurance wont allow them. She also told me that it would take you a full 2 laps to get to 150mph from start to finish with the hammer down, most folks aint going out of the gate with the foot to the floor.

I went around it in 1968 in a passenger van at 90mph. That was not enough speed to get up on the banking but it was fun. They open the track the next year.

Got to do a ride along at Atlanta Speedway, 160mph with 3 other cars on track. Was one hell of a ride!

yessir sure did. It was a blast. I had twin 20 lap sessions and had the fastest lap times of everybody there. I think we were running about 176.00. I drive race cars here locally and they saw I knew what I was doing and offered me a job but being young and stupid I didn’t go hire in when I was supposed to so I pissed that opportunity away

Did Atlanta and Daytona years ago Company I worked with co-sponsored Terry Labonte for a couple of years. Got to hit all the races. Back then we had box suites at quite a few tracks. Lapped Daytona at 194 three or four different times, did Atlanta at 186.

My FIL did the petty one and he was shocked at how easy it was to drive those cars and how stable they were at speed. Said he actually lost a little respect for the pro drivers cause it was not nearly as hard as he thought it would be.

I did a couple of laps at 96mph in a 1996 Chevy pickup. No way I was going to attempt that bank.
We were surveying for the new bleachers.
