I just built a 30X60 pole barn. I got my kit from a place in brewton for $7500. It included the heavier 26 gage roof and gable metal, 12 foot eaves, all 2x6 treated latten and 8"x8" poles with 12' bays instead of 6"x6". I built it on a gravel pad I built and leveled for it last year. Contractor charged $2.50 a sq ft to erect it for me. Very pleased with it. the 8x8s (the extra heavily treated) look so much better than the 6x6s. I used Chris Coleman 251 714 3291. He does a lot of barns in the Monroe County and surrounding area. Usually a couple of month waiting period.

Just had one built by Camp 11, think he is out of Florala, but built mine in Troy. Not sure if he comes your way or not, but he was the best deal I could find.
334-343-7483 Maybe he would come to South Montgomery County to build one. I’ll give him a call.

Beware of the best deal you can get. Look at the specs!

Beware of the best deal you can get. Look at the specs! They're all buying the same kits from the same metal/truss places at the same price. There aren't too many options to a plain ol pole barn - what size post and what gauge metal.

Believe me they are not all the same. I did a lot of research. Thickness of the angle used in the trusses, 2x4 or 2x6 treated latten? Bay width? (I had to have 12' bays), gage metal? CCA treatment of 8X8s?, eave heights? Wind rating? I also recommend avoiding colored roof metal go with the galvanized. Go with a dove grey gable metal, it won't visibly fade as bad.
