Any of yall got a good solution to override this stupid system and permanently disable it? I see a few different options on google but all seem to have mixed reviews. Any first hand experience here?

You would think it would be reversed to where you could activate it if you wanted it. It is irritating to me too.

In 5 years we won’t be able to buy a new pick up worth having with all the crap they are having to put on them.

You can manually turn it off but you have to do it every time you start the truck. So I never remember until I go to a stop sign or red light. Not a huge deal but still annoying

I didn’t know mine did it until after I bought it. Called the salesman back and told him it brought back memories of a Ford I had in the early 80’s. He said why? I said I can’t keep it running at stop lights either

Simple. There’s a button on the dash you push to deactivate it.

Wish it was hunting season.....year round

One things for sure. Manufacturers would stop putting this crap in vehicles if people stopped buying them. Don’t matter what the government mandates, money always dictates

I'll have to look tomorrow to see if I can disable that feature permanently. I'm almost positive it can be done, without altering anything.

Always heard the system deactivates when it has a trailer hooked up. Might could just put a cut trailer lights plug into the receptor and work it that way. Kinda silly but should work
