My gmc has an override button. Does the ford not? You can manually turn it off but you have to do it every time you start the truck. So I never remember until I go to a stop sign or red light. Not a huge deal but still annoying

Simple. There’s a button on the dash you push to deactivate it.

Simple. There’s a button on the dash you push to deactivate it. I think you missed the permanent part of my question. I dont want to push buttons to override the dumbarse system

Ask Odocoileus, he's got some wizbang flash tool that can do all sorts of wild things on the modern Ferds I'll have to look tomorrow to see if I can disable that feature permanently. I'm almost positive it can be done, without altering anything.
