I have a VX 2 and got dad a VX 3 on great deal. Both have an elevation thing that if you send it in to Leupold you can get a dial that matches your gun and bullets specifically that is accurate from 100-600 yards. Both have great glass and are a great eye relief. Really happy with both of them.

Pm RHClark, he can tell you anything and everything about Leupold optics. Yep. And how to lose weight. Man he is a inspiration on weight loss.

Midway has or had the VXR on sale. I bought a 3x9x40 duplex firedot for 365$, great scope for the money. The 50mm was 425$ I believe. Works great!

Leupold is"the cheaper company with the great warranty". Get a Nightforce if you want tough and reliable in weather. If I don't get Leupold I'm getting Swarovski. I also know your guy's not going to give me a big discount

I own a Vari-X III in 4.5 X 14 X 40 and love it. I’ve shot a ton of mule deer and African game with it. I sent it in to the Custom Shop with all my trajectory data from 100 to 1000 yards and they created a custom Bullet Drop Compensator for the scope, complete with a Target Turret and Turret Cover.

You need an Elite/w rainguard for that sloppy mess up there... Definitly wet. 99% of the hunters here road hunt since ya can drive the logging roads. It's like a hwy when season opens. I bike in to non motorized areas to avoid that junk as often as possible
