I'm a bammer but LSU has a good shot at beating AU and UA. That will make 4 wins against top 10 teams. Hard to argue against being the #1 team in the nation after that.

I’m not sure but I don’t think LSU has ever had an undefeated season except for the NC season in the fifties and the NC game against Bama. They have a history of losing a game that they are predicted to win when they are feeling good about themselves. Heck as far as I know they are the only team that won a NC with two losses in the last ten to fifteen years. So I wouldn’t be surprised if Auburn won. Either way it will be a good game but it just seems like that this may be the year for the Bayou Bengal Tigers 🐅

34-27 Auburn. LSU has a history of bad day games. And Auburn is due for a win in Death Valley. Burrows also no longer in Heisman talk after multiple sacks.

Here’s an interesting statistic for passing completion percentages. Nix’s is at 59% Burrow is a little under 80% So Burrow would have to go 0 for 70 to get to Nix’s percentage.
So AU’s defense has it’s work cut out for them. Plus the offense would have to score thirty points or more to be in the game. I don’t see that happening.

I think LSU by 14 to 21 points. I can't see Auburn making a game of it, but I'd love to be proven wrong. Be interesting to watch. Too many boring games here lately.
The left lane is for the the purpose of moving the flow of traffic forward regardless of the speed limit. If your impeding the flow of traffic get your ass in the right lane. It's really that simple...

Either way it will be a good game but it just seems like that this may be the year for the Bayou Bengal Tigers 🐅 You make a really good point. I'm not so sure that LSU (Or Auburn for that matter.) has learned how to win consistently. Winning and dominating another team has to be a mindset. You have to go in knowing in your head that you are the better team and all you have to do is to control your own emotions and your own abilities and play the game the way you have trained yourself to play. Leave the emotions out of it. I was watching Mississippi State the other day and every time that things looked like they might be turning State's way after some big play the cameras would pan over to State's sideline and the players would be jumping up and down like a tribal dance. I was thinking, "Hold on fellas, you ain't done $hit yet..." Sure enough they got their ass beat. Time will tell this year if LSU can get past their emotions and win out. They definitely have the talent and the coaching is better than I expected.

Florida's D was legit enough to expose Auburn's O-line and keep Bo Nix uncomfortable all night. LSU has a D that can do the same. Florida has a legit pass attack that put points up on Auburn. LSU has a good passing game that will do the same.
