Looking like mid November will be the first time I get to go. If all goes well I will be hunting a lot after then.

I hope y'all have a better season than I am. Bow exploded on me after a miss. Then I missed another this evening at 40 yards with my backup bow that I'm not used to. Time to hit the reset button. Started raining every time I've gone to the stand so far this year. Y'all help me out with a name. I got nothing.

I have been too. Hopefully I'll have some backstraps Friday though.

Well. I screwed up. Shot a buck a little far back. If it would have been a few inches to the right i think I would have found him. He ran off the property after running 600+ yards.

I killed a doe last week, but have not had a chance to post the pic yet.

Got a pretty 2.5 yo 6pt feeding around beside me

I gut shot a doe and let it lay overnight and it was eaten by coyotes. Nothing but a spinal cord stomach matter in a ball of fur left

Not a bow hunter but i plan to at least put a doe on the ground pretty quick!

Killed an 8pt I've been fattening up since August. He had an inch of fat on him. More points on the board.

Any of yall killed or about to kill anything? I havent been since last weekend. I'll probably try to go next weekend at Cahaba, but not totally sure as of yet.

Haven’t killed anything yet. Hoping things are about to get right where I hunt. I ll be off work the weeks of Christmas and New Year. Should be able to really get after them then. Illinois was a bust. Had to come home early due to sick kids and wifes grandparents being sick too. They all good now. Seen some good deer but not close enough for a bow.

Killed two does and a hog so far. My buddy killed a nice 8 pt one stand down from me dog hunting upper Delta last wk.

Only been twice and no luck either time. I'm about to get serious about some deer killing real soon!
