Usually after christmas the bucks start showing up with good movement by the 2nd week of January on. Yall seen any gooduns yet?

Ours usually is Christmas week and first of January... but man I’d say this is our pre rut and the bucks are on their feet. I haven’t checked my cameras. But all my buddies been seeing and killed afew nice ones this week, that have just showed up on cameras. I’m headed after them the next two mornings...

Haven't posted in a minute but I have been hunting hard. I can't seem to buy a deer at this point. I've been killing hogs and coyotes but the deer just flat out ain't cooperating. Rut on 1 of my leases should start up in the next week or so, then I'll be bouncing around from rut to rut. I've told everyone at work that from now until at least mid January I'll be 4 days a week tops. Maybe I'm just starting slow and will end with a bang.

Been getting my tail kicked so far this year but maybe it’ll change before long. Our rut starts towards end of January over into February

Any luck guys? I’ve got a new 10pt showing up quite often, hopefully our paths cross soon! I still have intentions on getting a doe, the opportunity to shoot one close to the truck hasn’t presented its self here lately..

I'm having the same issue. Rut was full swing last 10 days on my Lee County lease and I've had a big end of year push on at work. When I have been able to get a way from work the weather has been horrible. Should be able to take the next few days to get some hunting in though. Hopefully I can catch a lonesome buck still looking for the last available does. If not maybe I can go ahead and get a doe knocked down. Rut on my chambers county place should be soon so I am going to start hitting those spots soon. Merry Christmas guys and good luck.

Has been slow for me. I fished a tournament weekend before last and had family obligations this past weekend and with the rain, I just didn’t spend any time in the woods. Our rut is mid Jan -February. I will be at Lake Okechobee the last week of January fishing the Southern Tegional, so maybe I’ll get an upgrade mid Jan. I’m having a slow season soo far, but our heated part of season is about to kick off!

Dang this sucks... we ended up buying a house so I haven’t been able to get in the woods yet. While
Working on the house, I fell through the attic and broke a couple ribs. It could have been worse so I’m very thankful for that, but it’s just gonna be that much longer before I can get in the stand

Finally got lucky. Ruts on pretty hard in Chambers county was able to connect with one chasing a doe. It'll give a good bunch of points to the team.
