Couldn’t close the deal today. Lowered my bow to the ground, climbed down to my 3rd stick and removed my top one. Looked up and a buck walked 15 yards and started eating acorns. Nothing I could do but sit and watch... smh.

I vote stone cald killers. Be in a tree thursday guys. Looks like I'm getting up to camp just at the right time. Supposed to rain all day tues and wed morning. We need it something terrible at our place in north barbour/south Russell county. That cold front should have the deer on their feet. I'm letting the air out of the 1st doe that gets in range.
