Morning everyone. I remember seeing on the forum back in the spring about someone in Tennessee having the ability to do a bottomland or Greenleaf pattern dip/cerakote for shotguns. Does anyone on here have the contact info? Price? feel free to PM me or reply here. Thanks!

Following. Wasn't there someone in the Decatur area that could do this as well? I've got a little 20 ga. SXS that I'd like to talk to them about.

Not to derail, but has anyone used Jay's Hyrdrographics in Bessemer? I'm also wanting to do a gun in bottomland and he is 30 min from me which is attractive not having to send my gun off.

Definitely Preston at iron horse in Loretto. He did my 870 in green leaf and he has my sx3 now doing it in bottomland.
I’ve got a pic of the 870 on another thread somewhere on here

Another vote for Preston. He does great work and is good to deal with.

Jay just finished up a gun for my wife in Greenleaf with a Cerakote clear matte finish. Got him to use a darker base coat so it doesn’t look like a cartoon. Can’t speak for durability yet but best looking job I’ve had done....no contest. He posted a recent pic of it on his FB page. Also, heard good things about ironhorse.

Just looked at his stuff- great job! Which is more durable? I agree that I like the fact that he is only 30 min from alabaster

I dropped an 870 off to Jay this past Friday. It's my son's and he wants it in Bottomland with a matte finish.

Preston just finished my SBE in green leaf. He has an affinity compact left to do of mine and and an 870 20g for north40. Preston married my cousin and has traveled a couple years out west with Aucoonhinter and I.

Yup, my 20g is at Ironhorse now gonna have bottom land and drill/tap for mounts. . If your gonna take it then get it to them now. I dropped mine off about a month ago and he said it would be around December or 1st year before he could get to it. Told em I just need it by March.

Finally deported myself from the peoples republik of Kaliforkistan.
