Haven't been there, but if i were to get drawn, I would want either #4 or #1. It starts high on a bluff then falls into a bottom. I always thought there has to be some white oaks on the west side of the main road going in there in that bottom along the creek. It not being hunted much, chances are you could find some decent trails crossing that road from bedding to the acorns. I'd also check out the bluff on the southeast side of the unit. Classic funnel right there. The south side is called prairie land. Now deer will feed in the open prairie land. There are a lot of winter plants just coming up at that time in that prairie that deer will hit. I would bet there will be a few persimmon trees in the prairie land that would be a great food source. They also love to bed under cedar trees in the prairie where they can see all around them. Find your hot food sources, pay attention to where your scent is going. Don't allow a deer to smell you. In other words, when you go in there looking for a place to climb a tree, don't allow your scent to go into the bedding area. Park on top of the hill and walk in there the rest of the way. Deer are sure to hear you coming if you drive in there. On a south wind you would be sucking hind tit in this unit. I would hunt the far northern part if that were the case. Hope this helps and best of luck to you.
