Is it too late to plant some type of screening plants? What would y’all recommend to screen a food plot?

if God wanted me to be a vegetarian, he would have made shooting brussel sprouts more fun!

I would think so. As dry as it is, anything is going to have a hard time getting started. Remind yourself next year before you bush hog.

It be's that way sometimes.

Dog fennel, some call them summer cedars, make a great screen. They're weeds that are green and resemble a cedar tree somewhat and get 6-8 ft tall. If you have some in your fields, just don't bush hog them down around the edges.

I planted Egyptian wheat for screening this year, and it has worked great. Needs to be planted in spring or early summer though.

He never promised that the cross would not get heavy & the hill would not be hard to climb.
