What would you plant along a power line to make it difficult on the road hunters? Big tall power line, ~50yards across.
1) Is there anything that I can plant now that would help in the next couple of months.
2) Any thoughts on longer term plants? (obviously I can't plant trees)

I planted sunn hemp this year and it grows like crazy. Not sure a deer is touching it or that’s it helping the soil, but it’s growing fast.

Egyptian wheat is what I've heard. Never tried it though.

Probably too late in the year to plant anything that would grow high enough to do any good.

You may could get Egyptian wheat to mature before the first frost.

Might try elaeagnus. It regrows fast (when the power company mows the right of way). We planted some under a power line that runs throgh a pine plantation and it grows fast and pretty thick. It gets 20 feet tall.

It is considered in many places to be an invasive species so plant it with that being understood.

Reading the information about the elaeagnus plant it should be a crime to plant it. Sounds worse than cogon grass.

This appears to be Egyptian wheat, mostly.
