I’ve got a compact 11-87 20 gauge with a 21” barrel that I want to set up as a dedicated turkey gun. I plan to use a TSS load, but don’t have any prior experience with it, and don’t think I’ll load my own. So...TSS load and brand suggestions and obviously choke preferences - especially from those shooting a short barreled 20 would be much appreciated. Any other modifications y’all like I’d like to hear also.
Any of the tss will be fine, I’ve tried Apex and Federal and both are killers. If you haven’t hunted with a 21” barrel, you will really appreciate it in the woods. I hunted with a 21” 11-87 for years with rifle sights, but have switched to a FF3 a couple years ago. The red dot is definitely worth the expense as your eyes get older. Always fun setting up a new gun!

Thanks for the tips. I emailed Apex - I’ll probably just buy shells from them and go with their rec. I also like the idea of a FF3...but may go with rifle sights instead if I can find some I like
