Safe to say these things give good feedback given their simplicity.

If you'll lay them on their side, you'll be less likely to shoot if in low light conditions while hunting.

We use them too. We try to put flagging tape on them all so we don’t run over them in the fall. They just about disappear in the grass in the summer.

I use them too, interesting to track usage. I use the re-bar stakes and zip ties as pictured above . I cut them loose, pull the stakes and move them over to the edge of the plot in spring .

1/2" or 3/4" PVC pipe about 8 ft tall and painted makes a good marker. We grab used pieces of it when we find them.

Yea, when I hear people say, I planted and it never came up, I think to myself, yea it came up and got mowed down. The exclusion cage would show that.

Had a guy in our club once that was perplexed by exclusion cages. His conclusion was the metal from the cage must neutralize the soil causing the plants inside the cage to grow faster. Yea I know, it wasn’t even worth explaining. We just laughed about it.
