As the title says. Bought new in 2017. SBTII's are the Cadillac of insulated bait tanks, and not so easy to come by, as they are typically made to order. Selling my boat, so I dont need it anymore. $500.

I want it bad but with the new bait law I’m not sure I could ever use it.

Alabama has roughly the same live bait laws as the surrounding states now. It shouldn't keep you from using live bait. As far as I know you just cant transport fish from one body of water to another. I've used this tank exclusively in GA and MS and they have the same regulation. I always catch my bait in the same body of water that I fish in, or on rare occasion, buy some bait.

We fish Smith Lake and always catch bait on the Coosa. Almost impossible to catch enough or any bait on Smith.

ive seen the rrgulation but have not been able to find for myself or anyone show me the actual law backing it up i think its just a BS recomendation from the DCNR that they cant actually enforce but have worded it to discourage the practice. I want to know what code you are violating if you dont comply, what statute will they bring up in court?

I just did a very thorough search and I agree with you. I dont see a law that prohibits it.

If you need someone to keep it running good for you while you sell it, I could help. It would be clean and well maintained at all times so it would be presentable for viewing. You don't need any weapons, computer programming (I can build pretty decent websites, commercial needs coding, improve/modify/write new code for industrial/commercial applications), geospatial analysis, civil or structural engineering or land surveying for trade do you? I have a pretty impressive tactical shotgun that would come with a standard and rifled barrel plus a 7.62x39 ar upper or I could trade a brand new standard ar-15.

My old McKee Craft dual console has two bait tanks but my 1977 Grady White Marlin 201 has none. The Grady is a better ride in the slop so I'm shifting all of my saltwater stuff to her a bit at a time. If I made a cushion to go on it, would it be the correct height and strong enough to double as a seat?

It is very strong. Built like a tank, pun intended. You can definatly use it as a seat, the dims are 36″L x 24″W x 24″H. I thought about the trade offers, but I think I'd rather do cash. Could you do cash by chance?
