I love it when they come out while bush hogging my little food plot. Usually a cottonmouth and I love chasing them down while headed for the pond. Forced my FEL on top of one cottonmouth when he tried to slide down the bank to the pond. beers

Snub nose. 357 with snake. Shot caused the hole in his head. Probably wouldn't have killed him but he was in the camp next to my camper and all the camp dogs.

Found a fairly large Timber skin in our barn a few weeks ago.
We only go up to the farm once a month or so, so he has free
range. Now i'm a nervous wreck walking around up there.

Odd how that happens. I have seen two king snakes and a corn snake at our farm in 6 years of owning it and walking all over it. Never a venomous snake. I know a guy who lives about 3 miles away as the crow flies, and he kills at least 6 copperheads every year. Last year, he killed 11.
