Not right there, but I’d plug the hell out of it.

Plug it and run it.
I've got probably 50,000 miles on two different tires plugged just like that.

I wouldn’t plug it. Only because it is a trailer tire and probably over two years old and is just waiting to come apart anyway.

I temporarily plugged a almost new truck tire with the hole in the sidewall and put about 40,000 miles on it.

On a trailer...especially with tandem axles...yeah, I'd probably plug it and go on.

On a single axle trailer, probably not.

On a passenger vehicle where me and my family will be riding in...not a chance in hell.

I’m just the opposite. You guys ever watched tires on tandem axle wheels while making a sharp turn on pavement? A lot of side stress. I wouldn’t ride my family in a tow vehicle, if the trailer has questionable tires. Your mileage may very.

I would plug it to get home and plan to replace and probably forget until the tire came apart.

I have done this on company vehicles. One of them was so big it took 40 or 50 plugs and was still holding air when the tread was gone. I would air it up, plug, drive to work and home. Flat in the morning - air it up, plug it, etc, etc.

I hope you don't ride them in a towed vehicle anyway...it's illegal in Alabama and many other states.
