We've got several food plots that are sandy loam or clay loam and have 6-6.5 ph that we want to establish as Durana clover plots. Soil is also high in p and k. I've done some reading and consensus is 5 lbs Durana, 5 lbs red clover and 50 lbs wheat/acre to establish. I'd like some advice or comments if you have any experience with it. This is some really good dark soil that has and holds good moisture

Durana is slow to establish. Patriot clover is a good companion clover that establishes more quickly. Durana is one of the most drought resistant clovers there are. High stolon count per square foot, so it can choke out some weeds and grasses. Great stuff. I prefer cereal rye instead of wheat, for establishing clover due to it's alleopathic effect on weeds. Fancy word for keeping weeds at bay.

I mix durana, Patriot, arrowleaf and crimson.

The more you mow it the thicker it gets and it loves shade.
