Wow! Gainesville still has a football team? I had forgot about them. And they actually appear to have the talent, experience and depth to potentially be back in the NC discussion this year. Easy............ NC is a bold statement when our leading receiver is out for the season. Mullen is a great QB coach but he would have to be a miracle worker with Abe Lincoln. Da Gadas should be in the top 10 again this year. We are on the right track!

Bama will win the SEC West hands down. They will likely be undefeated but could probably win it with ONE loss if they had to.

See y'all in Jordan-Hare... That’s what the schedule says but what does that mean as far as Auburn’s record at that time? Let's not kid ourselves here.If we had the ability to predict the future,we'd all be out spending money right now.I don't know who will win the West.But I do have a feeling that we'll make a game out of it this year.Whether it has anything to do with who wins the division,I don't know.And besides,you know all that Auburn fans care about is beating Bama...  No one has the ability to predict the future. All I was asking is what y’all thought about the way the West may play out this year. It’s just a guessing game at this point. And no the most important game for Auburn isn’t Bama It’s Clemson vs Bama according to the piggy back Aubs on here. Hell they won’t even post in this thread.

I didn't mention Gus in my post.My optimism is based only on our roster.This is the season that determines the fate for Gus Malzahn at Auburn.And who knows what that translates to.I,for one,am glad it's here.
Your synopsis of our preseason optimism isn't confined to just Auburn University.It plays out,over and over,all over the country.It will once again come back to Tuscaloosa in the future,so I hope you Bammers aren't taking this run for granted... This is what bothers me about AU fans..... they seem to think our two programs are comparable. Look I enjoy the rivalry and most of my family even attended AU so there's no hate there at all but let's get real. This run is historic but Alabama has had a run in just about every decade since the 20's. We have way more National Championships than any other program even if you take away the ones people don't like to give us that we were actually awarded (yet they don't talk about the ones we were cheated out of - '66 for example). The tradition and history at Alabama is rivaled by no other program.... not even Notre Dame, Michigan, Texas, USC, Ohio State, etc can hold a candle to us.... much less AU. The ribbing is fun, the back and forth is fun but for someone to take Auburn so serious that they compare their program to ours on a wholistic scale is asinine. It's also crazy to discredit the history that is Alabama football.... we own College Football just like the Yankees own Pro Baseball and the Patriots own Pro Football. That's just the way it is. It find it even more asinine that a grown ass man can use the word "we" and "ours" that many times in a paragraph when referring to a bunch of 18-22 year olds.
Yeah, well, I always heard there were three kinds of suns in Kansas: sunshine, sunflowers, and sons-of-bitches.
