ozarc dropped to 154 but they sold out , Dothan has 4 at the 2 stores so you might can luck up there, most of the other stores only have 1 left. I'm keeping an eye on it myself, I'll let you know when they drop

I picked up a few game cameras, I also visited two stores and neither had the clearance price listed anywhere on them. you'll have to know what youre looking for and just pick it out and double check it at the price check station. Huntsville on memorial parkway near drake had one of the $25 primos buletproof and one $35 WGI mirage 16mp when i left. the one on sparkman had 3 moultrie 50i, 3 35i, a few of the primos bulletproof and a few of the WGI Mirage 16

The game camera's in Auburn didn't have the special price but the 73 quart Ozark had it listed. It appears to be a hit or miss on how good your Wal-Mart is at staying on top of things...

you gotta scan price, most of the time the employees dont even know the price. Especially if the price just dropped. The price comes from corporate and isnt done locally. I imagine they use some algorithm to choose when and where prices drop. An item can be on clearance at one store and not the next.

True.. the guns I went to look at during lunch and I just got the gun counter guy to scan them and they were the listed prices for on the website link.. they have no clue there as mentioned.. it works for the best when everyone else sees them marked regular price and don’t know to ask them to scan them.

I got one about lunchtime today.

The wife got the 12 gauge this morning..they had the 20 as well but I wasn’t sure what I would do with a 21”barrel so she didn’t get it.

They website showed they did, but there wasn’t one on the shelf. May call and give them the number and see. They didn’t seem too interested in looking in the back. When I have gave them numbers.

I bought two of the Mossy Oak trail cams from the Foley Walmart for $35 each yesterday. They seem like good cameras.

Anybody have any experience with the Mossy Oak trail cams on sale? There are a few of them in stock at the Wal-mart on South Parkway but I just couldn't pull the trigger. I get so sick of wasting money on trail cameras!

I did end up getting me one of those Yeti knockoff coolers though. I'm too cheap to pay full price on anything, but I guess I have finally/sorta caught up with the rest of the world in the cooler department.

I just got 8 cameras from bushnells, mossy oak(covert) camera, primos bullet proofs, moultries and a wild game for 150$. and every 16g SD cardd they had for $2.50 a pc...thank you to who ever found this

I had a friend of mine run in and check for me they had one in stock but said it was in the back waiting on paperwork to clear I think that was bullschitt and an employee just set it aside for someone else

There is a lot of that goes on.Brickseek updates constantly.When you go in there after an item,it's no time to be passive.If the sales associate won't get you anywhere,go over their head to a manager.As already stated,layaway starts the first of next month.Don't call up there alerting anyone.That gets the item hid in the back for the employee,or their friends and families...

I picked up an 1187 last week for $249. The Walmart said limited availability. I had the lady search for Remington on their computer and it showed the 1187 at the bottom of their list of in stock Remington guns, serial number and all. She went to look in the back but couldn’t find it and recommended I return the next morning so the manager could help. I stopped by the next morning and he went right to the back and found it. When he brought it back he said the 12 gauge was still $479. I had him scan it and boom, $249. I also picked up a fresh pack of rem oil wipes to use once a week lol

So if I find a item on brickseek and go to the store and it doesn’t match the clearance price on the tag, when they ring it up will it show the clearance price?

If it says the item is in stock but you can’t find it on the shelf it seems like there’s not much luck getting the item pulled from the back?

I went to a store in Mobile on Saturday morning. The online site I was using showed an 1187 in stock, actually a 20 and a 12. They told me the 20 already had paperwork on it, that the government check was still processing, and that they had to hold it for the fella by law until

The guy brings the 12 from the back. It’s got a big sticker on it with a guys name and indicated it’s being “processed.” I told the guy that’s the 12. Where’s the 20?

He goes back to his computer, says it shows in stock but I can’t find it. So I got a manager involved.
Can you believe they magically found it?

All the while the phone rings and rings, he answered and it was people calling wanting to buy the gun.

I'm sure there are exceptions,but these clearance sales have painted a bad picture,in my mind,of the integrity of your average Walmarks employee

I bought a Savage A17 last week for $184.00. BrickSeek showed that the Alabaster Walmart had two in stock. Walked in and they had the yellow tag on the gun showing $184.00. Walked out about 30 minutes later with the gun. He also confirmed that the other gun was in stock in the back. The manager had to carry it out and hand it to me once we got past the exit door.

Found a range finder and Binos on brickseek and the manager at the Walmart said that the price on that website is not always accurate.

I've found that price is pretty accurate and most of the times the managers are not accurate.

How do you prove to the manager that he’s wrong?

Tell him to scan the item and see what it rings up as.

yep, i got the walmart app on my phone and can scan prices. If its behind the counter i get them to scan it. Several times they gave me the price and when it was scanned it was cheaper. Just a fyi, just because the price is marked down at one store doesnt mean that its on clearance at the next. But brickseek has never lied to me before.

Had a manager scan something that brickseek said was on sale last weekend, scanned as the normal price. I was dumbfounded.

Went today and noticed a youth model 1187 20ga for $124.00, grabbed it. Just missed a .17 reg $383, sold for $99. Saw the sticker on the counter

I sent a buddy after a 20 ga 11-87 that the dexter link said was at a local Walmart. The guy behind the counter said he sold that gun a week ago. Just checked again and the link says it's still in stock and is now marked $124. What are the chances the guy was telling the truth vs keeping it back for a buddy?

So I had a good experience and a bad experience.

I found the items online. Nikon Prostaff binos $30. WGI Cloak trail camera $13.

Went to the store and luckily enough there was one Nikon bino left. Scanned it, sure enough $30! Sweet.

Called a lady over to look up the camera. That conversation went like this...

WM LADY: Yes we have 4 in stock
: oh wow! That’s a really good deal
: sorry I don’t know where they are, and there’s no way to locate them

So question on LIMITED STOCK... It may be the display and I understand for liability you cant sell treestands. Doesnt Walmart sell guns out of spinning rack so they would sell display rifle?

Not finding guns is bogus and I would ask for manager as retail gun places have to scan every barcode morning and evening to reconcile that guns all there and the inventory was reported daily. We did not leave store till all guns were accounted for.

Bunch of ways to "not find a gun" in WalMart and 9/10 times it's due to a lazy employee, lazy manager, or combination the two...It's been 30+ years since I worked there, but back then the guns were stored in a locked room in the back of the store. The only people with keys to that room are management. If someone wants to buy a gun, then the store employee has to get a manager, go to the "gun room", and find the correct gun (or box, if it's a display). If the manager takes his/her time to answer the call, employee could very easily say that they couldn't find it. I couldn't tell you how many times I had someone want to purchase a gun, only to have a manager not show up to unlock the gun room or call the sporting goods desk to say they were on lunch and it would be a while before they could get there.
