But; Fultondale is not a big jurisdiction. Seems like law enforcement should know the law? Thanks JB Dont get me started on fultondale. They let someone drive off from the scene of a accident he was involved in who had a suspended license, no insurance on the vehicle, and a warrant from a neighboring jurisdiction for driving while suspended.. I was told, nothing to see here. Its at the officers discretion.

"They don't want you to have it, plain and simple."
I don't think a minimum wage clerk cares if he has the info or not, I think she just doesn't want to get off her ass and do her job. Bingo!

Have him bring you a copy of the police report. Reports are not public record, and you would have to be listed on the report to attain a copy for yourself. Sorry this is not true. Some report have to have portions redacted but most are open records. You can request, pay a small fee and received most if not all given report.

i know in montgomery they don't release any of that information unless you are the victim, suspect, or complainant yada yada. There's too much liability tied into releasing that information I suspect. Like to know who, when, someone told you that information.

i know in montgomery they don't release any of that information unless you are the victim, suspect, or complainant yada yada. There's too much liability tied into releasing that information I suspect. That was the reason for the last revision of the state form. All of the general info and nondescript details were kept or placed on the front page. All of the personal info and details of the crime, including the narrative were moved to the second page and the front page is the only side that is released to the public.
