Does anyone have any experience with this pistol? I've never been a plastic pistol fan but this one kind of has my attention. Any info would be appreciated.

They are very nice. I’m considering a sk model now.

I shot one and liked it. Just a little pricey.

You can get them for $499 from time to time.

Only challenge with HK pistols is the cost of spare mags. Most gunmakers farm out magazine production to Mec-Gar, but HK makes their own. I sold an HK pistol once that I really liked because the magazines were $85 each.

I sent three Glocks on down the line (17,19,43) because they didn't fit my hand plus the striker fired trigger pull. All were great guns but I didn't like plastic. Went back to my BHPs, 1911s, and CZs. Well, last week I stumbled on a HK 30 in 9mm in the back room at the gun store. It was a used gun so why not, I was bored and took it back to the range to see how it shot. This is the hammer fired version with the safety and decocker. It went home with me. I've put about three hundred rounds through it and it has been flawless. Boringly accurate. I fit the grip panels to fit my hand and its very comfortable to shoot. And I still have a hammer activated trigger. Its really a nice gun. Also like the side paddle magazine release. I've been looking down a gun barrel of some type or another since I was a kid and this is one of the best.

I've got a vp9 and a p30l. They are awesome shooters, very reliable and just feel good in the hand. Magazines are not that expensive if you check online. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one. My daughter wanted to shoot mine one afternoon so I set up a 5 gallon bucket about 30 feet. She centered it every time. I backed it up to 30 yds and she still centered it. Once again this was her first time to shoot a full size auto pistol.

Two roads diverged in the woods and I took the one with deep ruts, hills and mud.It may be bumpy but WHAT A RIDE!

I just don't like the new look of some models, they remind me of a Hi-point 🤪

I went to a USP 40 full size from a couple Glocks. The Glocks work fine and are accurate enough but I think the HK is a lot more refined and more accurate weapon. In my hands,it will do much better than my G19 or G36.

I’ll trade ya a couple Leupolds for that G19 & G36 grin

Traded the 19 already for a stereo but I will keep my 36. It was my first Glock ever.

I "traded" my Dad my HK USP 45 stainless. He passed and it "dissapeared"

I saw Hickock's review & it was like he really tried to not like it but couldn't because it was such a good shooter. It was kind of weird.

Very accurate pistols. I really like the grip. I am thinking hard about getting one.
