Nice! I have not been going lately. Every time I plan to go something comes up.

Nice catch. Did you get an IV to stay hydrated?

straight lining a 1/4 gold jig. you cant keep minnows alive this time of year. I can keep them alive in the bait bucket but once you drop them in 87° water and sink em 20-25 feet they die before you get done letting the line out. Ive tried and learned the hard way.

Take you some 2litre coke bottles and fillum with water and feezem..put an aereator onem in a bigger buket an set that bottle in there an cool that water down i built an aerator out of a half a 30gal drum and built me a square pvc frame an drilled holes all in it with a downspout pipe runnin to a 12 volt bilge...hook it to a car battery and youll have you a rainy watefall recirculation system..youll have to put you some screen around the bottom or the pump will stop ip with scales and burn up..combine that with those bottles and ive gotem to live several days in this heat..but thats an awful lot of baloney tk fiddle with if you catchin them good with a jig😁

shiners im pretty sure the temp difference shocks them i keep a frozen bottle in the bucket so taking them from 55° or so water into 90° they die almost immediately. ive tried keeping the bait bucket well aerated and allow the water in it to get close to the lake water temp that does nothing but kill the whole bucket. I probably need to try catching minnows on the lake im fishing they might do better. I also dont use a cheap bubble box i use a good 120volt high volume bubble aerator running on an inverter in the boat and i keep them plugged up at house when not fishing its never turned off so im sure oxygen isnt the problem
