I have seen where several of y’all are feeding roasted soybeans. Just wondering if deer like the roasted beans better than just plain combine run beans or if there is another reason to feed the roasted beans.

So where do you buy roasted soybeans? There was a thread a month ago but I never saw where anyone around Montgomery sold it.

When George Kelly in Faunsdale first started roasting them about seven years ago, he threw a few bags in my 4-runner to try out. I almost had to pull over to eat some they smelled so good.

The place is in Frisco city. The ones near Montgomery are just raw beans.

We get ours from Frisco City as well. Another benefit is that they won't sprout on you.

Yeah they do here. I think when I mix it with corn they eat more corn than soybeans.

Steel deer feeders will solve all your coon problems if they are not placed around low tree limbs, I got several of them. steeloutdoors.com

They are roasted soybeans, you can get just roasted soybeans, roasted soybeans and corn and one that has cracked corn, grain, roasted soybeans, molasses mixed with minerals and salt and it smells good enough to eat out of the bag. These all come from Southern Seed and Feed in Mississippi. A lot of feed stores carry their products
