For you awbs, guess I should have explained. The AU on the helmets is going to look a little different from now on. Font is a style of letter. Can I just delete this thread. I just assumed (incorrectly I guess) that ya'll would be interested

Auburn proposed to change its existing orange-blue AU logo from the current Copperplate font to a Sabon font. The font is the style of the letters. Font explained - https://www.digitalcitizen.life/simple-questions-what-font-and-what-font-familyIt also proposed to make the A and U the same size, which would eliminate the tiny space between the letters and appear to make the A look a little larger. COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY by a university apparently devoted to wasting time and money on TRULY F'KING STUPID THINGS like paying the president double his contract to leave or "fixing" the logo that doesn't need fixing. University officials said this was NOT a new logo, however, and called it their "visual identity system." F'king idots in charge down there in the offices or on the Board or boosters trying to meddle or all of the above. It's why we can't have nice things.
