Hell, it’s been raining so much in mccalla that I can’t hardly keep my grass mowed. Nearly every afternoon about 5 we get a shower.

I've got water puddles as we speak. Got 2" in the last 24 hours.

As long as it's hot and dry for most of the day, these showers will just make it stickier for the next day.

Living in Alabama makes it sticky and miserable. The rain, anytime we can get it, is welcome.

Typical June, July, and August in Alabama. It's just.....HELL!

FINALLY getting a good rain here and looks like a good bit more to come from southern TN if it don't rain itself out before it gets here. This is only the second measurable rain we've had since early June. So thankful for it and I hope it rains all night.

Glad you got it. Looks like it’s gonna miss all of us over this way. Losing daytime heating fast now.

Not fast enough

We've gotten more rain yesterday evening and right now than we've had in the past 4-6 weeks added together. Thank the Lord.

Looks like 70% for north Alabama to me. Sorry the weather men conspired against you specifically.

That big line of rain just totally skipped most of the area we needed it in along the TN river west of Decatur. It fell apart north now built back south of us. Close call tho

That's right, I've been covered up by that green radar, several times, and not get a drip of rain.

Most radar signals we see are composite of several radar sites combined and they lie/exaggerate every time about actual rain fall. I use the base image on the National Weather Service radar image page. It is the signal from a single radar (choose the closest to you) and is MUCH more accurate on actual rain hitting the ground.

Man it built up some kinda impressive once it got south of us. Crop sure coulda used that big drink. Oh well maybe tomorrow.

Been real wet at my house on south parkway.

Been real dry all year at work off rail road bed rd in madison. 25 miles away and its desert.

I'm pretty sure the 70% isn't 70% chance farmers get what they need. Y'all expect the "dumb weatherman" to come water your fields because stochastic summer showers didn't develop exactly where you wanted them.

Jake south of 565 on co line rd has been the worst dry spot my farmers have. It’s awful down there I know exactly what you are saying.

The TN valley is a weird place for weather. I still say rain burns up over us cause they marched those poor Indians right thru here.
