3/10 wouldn’t recommend. Certain fishing may be ok out of it, but I didn’t enjoy being so low to the water. There are other obvious nuisances but I digress. I wouldn’t waste your money on it ole timer.

Are you talking about Perch's tube or my kayak?

And which one of us is the "ole timer"?

smile

Here is what I would do at one spot with the kayak if I bought it. Enter the creek from public access and carry it still in the bag for about 1/4 mile. The area holds water and fish early in the year, but not enough now for anything. So then I stop at a sandbar and pump it up and fish the next half mile of slack water. It can be pretty good fishing with the water low; all the fish are in this section. It's too deep to wade, so you either swim or float in something.

Then I would beach the boat and wade fish the shoals below the long Eddy. Go as far as I want, turn around and come back, putting the kayak back into the bag at the head of the eddy. I think it might work for that trip. I have thought of using a tube float, but I think the kayak is a better idea. Wrong?

All the labor of man is for his mouth, and yet the appetite is not filled.
