I’ve killed two copperheads in the last 23 hours within ten feet of each other. Not good. Been here for 12 years and killed one the entire time up until now. I live on the side of Burleson Mtn and they’re there for sure. But they’ve come down from the bluff this year. I’m the one that posted about all the foxes this spring. I wonder if all those foxes put a hit on the density of similar food staples. I do realize it’s rained a lot recently but the slope where I live doesn’t let a drop not race down the mountain.

excuse me, but seriously. When aren't they moving? slap

Thomas Jefferson. The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Life is too short to only hunt and fish on weekends!

If being a dumbass was fatal some of you would be on your death bed!

They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.

When I was just a kid my Grandaddy told me that copperheads travel in pairs. I have found this to be dang near 100% true with my encounters with ‘em.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.
