Killed a deer the landowner told him not to, then killed a bigger one(same day..only one tag). He left the first one to rot and took second one across state line(federal violation). Got caught, convicted, fined.
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

This is the caption on the main photo -- "The Star spent a year and a half exploring the hidden world of breeding deer for freakish antlers so they can be shot behind fences."
This is one reason the news media is in the f'king tank even deeper than ever. There is no "hidden world" in deer breeding and killing them in the big pen. This chit has been going on for many decades. But just because it's relatively new in Indiana and has become a bigger thing there in the last few years, The Star believes it's now the big arbiter of secret revelations into the dark underworld of killing deer in a high fence pen.
Idiots.
And because the general public doesn't know much about it, a lot of them see this as "hunting" and associate it with those who don't pay to shoot a big or freak buck grown in a fence. They see it as unpalatable and unsporting, and that reflects on all hunters from the stickbow purists who want a 12-yard shot to the beanfield box hunters with a rifle they want to air out at 300 yards or more.
This is one reason so many hunters get pissed about high fences and f'king hate being lumped in with people who pay to visit 1,900-acre Will's Deer Pen and act like their 164-inch droptine buck they shot is a big deal.

If it was high fence it doesn't matter how many u kill is that not right? They are not free range animals so the one buck doesn't apply to high fence right?

Depends on the state laws and/or regulations. But just saying "it's in a pen, I can do whatever I want" usually isn't going to happen.
As Fred said, kill a buck illegally and transport it across state lines - federal screwup and no Monopoly cards can help you get out of jail.

Just having a fence doesn't mean you can ignore the game laws and regulations if the game animals inside it are regulated by the state's conservation agency.

I know that but they got him for killing 2 bucks also but if they were killed in a fence I don't see how that would hold water
Well just because it's a fence don't mean u can call up an outfitter next week here in bama n go deer hunting cuz they have a high fence...
This is a longtime argument of the Landowner vs. Conservation Agencies, and one reason (of many) that some high fence operators want to have deer and other animals inside their fences put on par with livestock and oversight transferred to their state's agricultural department.
Landowner puts up a fence and says it's his land, he can do whatever he wants whenver he wants even if the deer inside it were once wild or he brings in new ones to breed. Also claims he and anyone else can "hunt" these anytime since they're not wild and are "his" deer (or elk, or whatever).
Conservation Agency says nope, they're a game animal and should-must be regulated with oversight and that belongs to them since deer are game animals with hunting seasons, limits, etc.
This was played out in the Missouri courts the past couple of years. It's been a point of contention in other states. Best I can remember, the courts have ruled for the Conservation agencies.

No doubt Shaw lot of the pricks that do these shows do this crap and get away with it. Hey Shaw not sure u remember me but use to shoot buckmasters with u
Never liked him and im glad his true colors are out for all to see. Guys always been a tool.
He had a good thing going with his show though and could have done well, but he couldnt help himself. Guy is his own worse problem. He was bound to self destruct trust me.
Couldnt have happened to a nicer guy..lol.

This exactly. Transportation of illegally harvested game over state line is no laughing matter. The feds will hang you by your short hairs if they catch you.
I got everything to try and start shooting it again last year, but work got in the way. This year has been surgery on both knees. Think I’m officially done now. I haven’t shot a tournament of any kind in six years.

Getting old sure can suck cant it guys? I feel your pain..literally..feeling it now.
Thats cool that yall know each other. Good to have you on the site SandMtnSlayer...now...tell us more about that name. You killing good ones on sand Mtn?
Couldn't happen to a bigger jackass. I remember Chris Brackett from the days when I used to post at a site called Archery Talk. He used to post there as well. He was just an unbelievable ass*#"e. You would think that a guy trying to have a career on hunting shows would at least pretend to be somewhat civil to potential fans on a public hunting website but nope. Total douche nozzle. Even routinely threatened people. Only thing I hate about this story is that he didn't resist arrest. Would have been even better if the people who arrested him would have had a good reason to beat his ass with a night stick for a good 5 minutes.

I have met and personally know a few outdoor celebrities. I could tell the first time I met Chris that he was a prick and half crazy. Total self promoter that would do anything to elevate himself in the hunting community. Guys like him completely miss represent the hunting community in my opinion.
Yep brackett reminds me of lot of bowtard ooops I mean bowtarist. Complete prick I've saw him at the shows completely full of himself.obsession naw they ain't no good deer on sand mtn. Just a bunch of scrubs
Oh yea I'm old enough to remember Noel. I met him at a show one time. He seemed like a nice enough guy just didn't know he was a poacher I just thought he was the real deal. Had the wool pulled over everyone's eyes
I remember Noel getting into some trouble. He also met my FIL and when he found I I was a bowhunter he gave my Fil a lot of branded equipment for me to use. I think I still have some. I know I have som of the wind direction checkers and I still use them.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.
the actual video of him doing it was online a year or so ago but i cant find it now. He was a total prick to the camera guy who was filming him and Im sure thats why they footage got "leaked" out for everyone to see. If anyone can find it you will agree. iirc he shot the one buck, then the camera guy says, theres a bigger buck and he reloads and shoots the 2nd buck.

Hey, are he and his wife competitive body builders? Im pretty sure I see them on a poster for a big event hung up at our gym.
Ive seen pics of them on the beach and I was pretty sure it was she and he.
I was wondering and I thought someone here was related to them.
All Spanns are related, not many of us. Not real sure that I’m related to him and don’t really want to know. I did give him my card and offered my services for when he gets in trouble in Alabama.
Next, y'all are gonna tell me that Chad Belding is a douche too....
Never heard of her...

There are 3 certainties in an uncertain world:
1. All Politicians Are Liars 2. All Gun Laws Are an Infringement 3. Taxation Is Theft
Just as an FYI - almost all the time, decals on guns is for TV promotion because marketing folks want to see the logo or name. It's just business.
When the decals become something like a Gothic crosses skulls dripping blood "Gonna Murder Duck-Deer-Turkey Faces Lips Eat Dead Meat Grawwrrrrrr!" type stupidity, that's douchery.
Other thing I don't get - why would anyone want to cut and comb their hair to look like a Sleestak from Land of the Lost? For you kids younger than 40, that's an old and very bad TV show.
It's not just an European hairstyle. I've seen it on men and boys in the US and Europe, white and black, and it just looks kinda weird to have a big wedge. To each his own, though.

Looks like someone dunked his head in toilet and flushed. We called it a swirly years ago.

I almost forgot about that show. May be under 40 but watched it a fair number of times as a kid.
If the hair doesn’t give it away, the facial hair prominently displays his douchery. The guy could shoot a bow for sure, but I never considered the guy much of a hunter. I’m hoping the hunting public and others like them stick around. Would much rather watch those guys not get a shot than sit and watch horn porn infomercials.

This cracked me up. Thanks for the laugh.

Oh come on back and shoot again you old man. We can put some rails on the steps and I'll put you another chair up in the stand so you can sit down and shoot. Well, maybe I can stack about 3 or 4 chairs up so you can see the back targets.
We used to call those guys like that who wore the macho bloody t-shirts and goofy haircuts and facial hair "Billy Badass"! Ha Ha They try so hard to act cool. What a couple of tools. Like my buddy said when he saw one of those dudes, I didn't know the circus was in town!

Azzwipe made a video in Bama many years ago. Parked on the side of I-65 near clanton and shot deer which were obviously feeding on a pile of corn he hid behind some brush.
I don’t know about killing a deer in Clinton over corn but I learned a lot from his vids. H e didn’t hardly never miss a deer and was a straight up assimassin.
Saw that quail too. Also saw him cook fish next to his radiator wrapped in foil driving and also cooked fish in his dishwasher. I think I’ve seen all his videos. Legend
