Anticipating available hunting lease in Shelby County consisting of 282 acres.
Contingent on current lessees not renewing by August 15, 2019.
Only interested in leasing land to three (3) or fewer hunters. No hunting clubs please.
Lease would begin September 1, 2019 and end August 31, 2020.
Very close and convenient to Birmingham area off of Shelby County Hwy 43.
$3,000 firm includes hunting insurance.

Thank everybody for your interest. It seems as if those holding the current lease will not renew so I will begin the process to find new hunters from those that have already replied.
I will begin contacting those who PM the most favorable responses next week to see if you are still interested.

Why should it be??

The person selling/leasing/renting ought to be able to do as he/she pleases.

If I had something for sale, and the first person who pmd me was 150 miles away, the 2nd person who pmd I knew from experience was a complete rear end, and the next person was a good friend of mine, I know I'd be selling it to my good friend.

Or maybe the person 7th in response lived 2 miles from the property or in the same neighborhood as the property owner?

A bunch of variables, and I'm going to sell, rent, lease to whatever is best suited for me and my time.
I believe most on here would more than likely do the same thing.

Now it's a totally different thing to work out a deal with someone and then sell/rent/lease to another.

Agreed. If someone sent him a nasty PM for not responding soon enough, or to their liking, I wouldn’t blame the fellow one bit for moving to the next person in line.

I know one thing. If it’s my land ain’t nobody allowed on it if I don’t want them on it. I wouldn’t expect anything else from others.

Who said someone sent him a nasty pm? I know who was probably the first person to respond and he wouldn’t find a better lease holder. Only reason I said anything cause I doubt he tried to suck ass to get the lease just wanted to have first dibs.

I never said anyone did send him a nasty PM. That’s why I said “IF”. I had actually sent him a PM too but he had already received several contacts and told me he was exploring those. No problem with me. It’s his place.

Price says $3000.00 firm. It does not say that is the starting bid. Only 3 posts to his credit and all of them about this lease plus vague responses. If I don't get a "favorable" response by this evening as to what's going on I'm nuking this thread and swinging the ban hammer. And no, I'm not interested in this lease.

Yeah I think, to a man with any integrity, that "firm" applies both ways.

Ive spoken with him on multiple occasions. I sent him a pm directly and have not had a problem with communication thus far.

Last I heard he had a potential leasee reviewing the property and lease.

I'm just mad at everybody on here because I overlooked this thread entirely of my own doing....but I'm mad at y'all. A little lease on 43 would be perfect....would have been....y'all are horrible people!
