What are some of the results y’all have had with spy points? I was looking at adding a few spy point link evo cameras for the season. I’ve read good reviews online, but some on here seem disappointed.. any feedback would be appreciated on any cell cams. Thanks

A friend of mine purchased a spy point and had problems with the picture clarity. He ended up returning it and purchasing a Moultrie camera and the cellular modem for it. It has been much better than the spy point. Just one experience.

Clarity is an issue. I bought one last year. It gets the job done. That being said, I’m spending a little more this year. Going with Covert or Spartan.

Bought a Spypoint at BasPro last August. Picture quality was poor and didn't capture a lot of pictures. I took it back to Bass Pro in December and got a full refund. In my opinion they are slightly better than junk.

Poor quality pictures, 80ft range is more like 40ft, dont take pictures every time it should, dont send all the pictures it takes, cameras tear up frequently. Other than that, theyre great. Ive got two im stuck with so I make do but I dang sure wouldnt buy another one.

I have had a spy point going for two months now. My take - if you want a camera for a good price that functions well, but maybe not quite as well as the expensive cuddieback, then go for it. The complaints about poor picture quality come from the cellphone images only, I believe, as the pictures on the SD card are just fine. The cell pictures, if set to "normal" as in not high quality, are not what you get from the SD card. Then again, they are perfectly good enough to see what you are looking at - doe, deer, turkey, etc.

I had an issue with mine out of the box not taking any pictures. Customer service was easy to get in touch with. They sent a signal to it and upgraded my firmware and reset it. Up and running about 12 hours later.

Granted, I haven't had it for months or years yet, but so far so good.

Spy point Link micro cameras are on sale right now for $119.00. I bought one to try out. Figured it was worth a shot for that price. Academy and Amazon have the same price.

Just spoke with my neighbor, he has 2 walley world spypoints out and 1 Spartan. He said better cams the Spartan but, he's had issues twice with sim card. His spypoints have been problem free, just the photo quality is a bit less. He said he will buy more of the Spypoints next year

Just threw a Spypoint away. Worked great for about a year. No issue with pic clarity etc. Tried to update the hardware numerous times to no avail. Got to where it couldn't find a signal and would eat batteries. I'm looking at my next cell cam being a Spartan or Covert.
