Now I will say, I left there a whole lot more confused than I was when I walked in, and I’m sure I’ve misspoke or misquoted something but I know for a fact they did tell us that some of the stuff had very high levels of THC. Whether or not that’s true, I don’t know. And yes, I agree that the thought crossed my mind that we were hearing only one side of the story.

Then that's illegal and they're breaking federal and state law.

Anything that has more than a .03% THC level ( almost non existent) isn't legal to sell in Alabama. The people selling anything with 90% THC are illegal drug dealers and you aren't going to buy it for the price of the stuff they are legally selling.

Lots of bad info in this thread already. Just realize your body has its own cannabinoid system (nothing to do with THC or getting high) and there is plenty of good, solid science that the cannabinoid properties of hemp/cannabis have real, documented health benefits. I haven't used any but I've read quite a bit about it , especially in regards to treating inflammation and pain. As with anything else there are bad companies out there selling sub standard products just trying to cash in on the hype so do your own research before deciding on where or if to buy.

Synthetic compound that is not even close to being a good comparison. No one is lobbying harder against CBD than big pharma. That tells me all I need to know.

Legal CBD does not get you high and is just a derivative of hemp. It isn't dangerous, addictive or even intoxicating. It's just a byproduct.

My ole man was taking some cbd for a small circle on his head that started balding due to stress or something. He said his hair was coming back but it killed his libido. That folks was more than I ever cared to know. Take at your own risk old farts.

Im beginning to think a lot of folks on here are propagandized into believing THC is like freaking LSD.

Jeez, ...Your mind isnt going to fry from some dang THC.

Ive been to Holland many times where they had super strong pot. NOONES mind was frying. If you have never even tried pot you sound kind of silly talking about these things to be honest. As you are way off base.

I smoked a TON of weed in my younger days. It did not get me to try other drugs. It did not make me non productive. It does not make you hallucinate or any of the nonsense some folks are peddling. slap

In fact it IS FAR less of an intoxicant as alcohol. It gives you far less of a buzz...and doesnt impair your mobility like alcohol. Noone is falling down drunk like they do with too much whiskey or wine from smoking pot. If they smoke to much..they get the munchies and take a nap. smile

It IS NOT addictive like alchohol either. I stopped in one day when i was younger. I Have smoked it again when overseas where it was legal on occasion and was not running out the next day to get more.

Id rather smoke pot then drink, and if it was legal here in Alabama, Id be smoking instead of drinking. Fact. From someone who has done a lot of both..just saying. shocked

As to the CBD oil Ive had a ton of people tell me how it relieved their migranes and other pain. Even my doctor suggested I should try it for all my pain when I mentioned it as I will NOT do opiate painkillers. I refuse to. He tries to prescribe them to me every time im there. NOW those are addictive , dehibilitating to me and have ruined a lot of folks lives.

So instead I take a combination of Tylenol/ibuprofen.

I may very well go buy some CDB oil today to try it as I am healing from 2 broken ribs, and I broke my ankle 10 days ago, and have 3 bulging discs in my neck that they recommend surgery for and Im in a heck of a lot of pain. If it helps, and its legal then Im all for it. thumbup

One question I do have for those that ACTUALLY KNOW is HOW do you use it? Do you rub it on? And how much do you use?

Hemp, Cannabis has been around for hundreds of years. It's been studied extensively. The THC that is in marijuana has been shown to cause, in some cases, psychological issues, like schizophrenia, but legal CBD doesn't have THC in it. The cannabinoid properties have all been studied and I can't find anything showing negative health implications.

So what's the best CBD? Where do you order it from?

Again.. Not my point.

Spice .. otherwise known as synthetic marijuana is NOT even comparable to marijuana. It's straight out of hell, and was legal for a brief time because it was an unknown. All I'm saying is be careful.

No it didn't, you were comparing the legality of the two. How can something be illegal when it's not even known to exist, such as spice...it wasn't skirting a law, it was introducing something new to the market that then caused the laws to be changed. CBD/THC has been known about for years. Also, I don't need to remind you that there are plenty of things that have been deemed legal that are dangerous things...you could have used any number of those in your example. Don't think anyone argued "it's safe b/c it's legal".

A company that seems to have good reviews with a large following is Hempworx. I know nothing about them other than what I've read.

Correct and the only way you'd fail a drug test using CBD is if the test specifically targeted cannabinoids. This could still be problematic for some folks though.

If they are only testing for the presence of THC there is no risk due to the very small amount present in legal CBD oil.

because hemp only has only a small percentage of thc in it to begin with. Like bill said .3% and under to be legal for sale. None is removed from the plant.
