All it’s gotta do is last 3 years and it’s not a warranty issue. Sand it down and put 3 coats of a good quality clear and it’ll last awhile

hoggin 10 point H Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 4,561 McCalla	A good clear coat product actually should cost more than the paint under it I bought paint and clear coat today for a bike we’re finishing up, paint ( 3 quarts/2 colors) was $264 Clear coat 3 quarts $496 In my opinion if you’re gonna skimp do it on the paint, I use premium clear on every base/ clear paint job Last edited by hoggin; 07/16/19 06:52 AM.
