In college my 79 Toyota Celica Coupe hauled a few in it's time. When I got out and joined the working world one of my first big purchases was a pickup. Man I wish I had the Celica still. I am not a mechanic by any means, but anytime it had a problem, it was put together simply enough that along with my rudimentary mechanical knowledge, I could fix it myself. It helped though that if I screwed it up, I had a father, and a few uncles that could fix pretty much anything. That always gave me the confidence to try. You have no idea how many times I wished any of them, especially my father, were around to help me or just walk me through something or how many times I beat myself up for not paying attention and learning just some of what they could do, like welding for example. It certainly must skip a generation because none of that interested me when I was young but my son seems to have inherited some of the natural fix-it aptitude that I didn't get.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

That getup had the potential to go terribly awry.

Yep if that pole saw catches a power line he'll go back to the future

Only if he's going 88 MPH. Anything less and he'll be back to dust.

Tied a nice 8 point on the hood of a Camaro in the mid 80's.... got a lot of looks on the way back to Montgomery in I-65.

I have a truck, but sometimes I hunt during the week and I drive my Dodge caliber to work with all my gear crammed in there. Mind you it's a hatchback but I use a old painters tarp and plastic and have hailed a few deer in it.

May not have killed anything, but always a good time
