Little pop up storm knocked it down to 73. Was cutting brush. Now sitting in porch swing having a cold one watching it rain.

Once or twice a week I'm in the paint room and the heater has to be running with all this humidity 😫

Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!

I'd die. Twice!

Sig Sauer, to hell and back reliable.

Whatever suits you just tickles me plum to death.

Can I refill your eggnog for you? Get you something to eat? Drive you out to the middle of nowhere and leave you for dead?

Waited a little too late to go to the garden and pick some peas. The sun on my back felt just like someone was holding a torch on it. I hate summer, it's just not good on old people

I typically have cussed summer every way possible by this point during the summer. As an hvac tech this summer hasn't been near as bad as the last 12. I spent 8 hrs in an air conditioned chiller plant today. It was a crisp 68 or so in there. Almost got chilly at one point.

Of couse next week I'll probably be on a rooftop all week running a computer so ill probably be cussing summer at that point.

Someone needs to genetically engineer some grass that will be green but won't grow in the heat. They'd be billionaires in no time. My yard needs to be cut but it's just too dang hot. I guess I'll get up at 6AM and do it and let Aldeer talk bad about me.

Excuse the sanctimony.

I’m in central Florida and it’s mid 90’s every day. Hell, it doesn’t even get out of the mid 80’s at night. And it’s no where near as damn hot and miserable as it gets through the Blackbelt. Not even close. Guess there’s always a breeze from east or west.

not sure what the best way to handle them is but they shouldnt be on tv and gettn married and raisin kids

I don’t mind the heat too much if I’m prepared to sweat... in other words, I’m workin or fishin, or whatever and I know it’s going to be hot. On the other hand, say Sundays when I have on church clothes, I HATE hot weather. I hate sweating in a button up shirt, then going back in to church on Sunday evening.

I wear long pants, boots and a hard hat all day every day, but it’s not near as hot as Sunday clothes for some reason.

The heat index has been rough for the past 3 weeks. I can handle the heat without much issue but I would not mind a few days without triple digit heat index.
