Just got back in. Took a few hrs to scrape up a few quality elusive ARS. Kids first ones and wife caught a double yellow tagger. It’s a good ride til the 10 mile mark then got nasty. Following seas headed south and bitch rip was hell on my buddy to hold the boat. Soon as we put #12 on board we headed in. Son and daughter both put 21# on deck right off the bat. He’s hooked now

That fish could have a $150 dollar reward from AU on that tagged snapper if it's a tag in front of the anal. You can fillet the fish but DO NOT REMOVE THE TAG!! Call AU Marine Fish Lab at 251 990 4858 for details.

This thread is a reason I enjoy Aldeer so much. I know literally zero about offshore fishing, or wind, waves, boats, seas, etc. I feel like I'm getting edumacated through the experience of you other guys. Awesome!
