It was good. Wish I had put more meat and cheese in it. I will next time. Made some breadsticks out of the crust trimmings.

Chicago style pizza is my absolute favorite. Tortuga's here in Bham makes one every bit as good as the ones I had in Chicago.

Recipe for this bad boy? Or basically, what did you use for the crust? Would love to throw one of these together in my skillet! Looks delicious

Fresh dough from Publix. Roll and lay in skillet that has plenty of EVOO covering the cooking surface, cover bottom with sliced provolone, fresh mozzarella balls, cover that with browned Italian sausage, layer of pepperoni, layer of bagged low moister mozzarella, more pepperoni then more bag moz. Cover with some thickened pizza sauce and grate some parmigiano reggiano. Into a 425° oven bout 30 minutes or until crust browns. Remove and grate more parmesan. Cool and serve. 😋

I trimmed off the excess crust, cut it into strips, coated with the evoo and garlic salt and baked them on the bottom rack. When they came out a bit more oil and grated fresh parmesan while they were still hot. They was some count as well.

I hope it works out. What will you use in place of the dough? Going to have to be substantial to hold all these goodies but man. Totally worth it.

Fat Head dough in place of the crust. I’ll post up the recipe when I do it.
