I figgered some of you exotic nut grass (chufa) men would be able to tell me how long it takes Clethodim to kill crabgrass? I guess the best way to axe that is to say, how long after spraying will I be able to tell it's starting to die? I used the lower rate and the crabgrass is a foot tall and well fertilized, well watered and growing like wildfire. Might should have used a higher rate, but I drove extrey slow.

Clethodim is sloooooow to work. Slower than gly to see symptoms. Of course it’s dead within 24 hrs of spraying just don’t be shocked if it takes 10-20 days to completely die off

I can’t say for sure that I killed every sprig of grass in my gourd patch but all of it that’s 6” tall or shorter is already showing signs that it’s dying. Already starting to turn a little yellow. The taller grass isn’t yellowing at all yet. Might have to respray it
