Why do some insist on using the word "running" when referring to almost any piece of equipment?
Examples:
I'm running ______ scope on my rifle.
I'm running ______ bullets through my gun.
I'm running ______ electronics on my boat.
I'm running ______ broadheads through my bow.
You get my drift.
Does that bother anyone else or am I alone on this one?

Used a guide for quail hunting in Arizona. He had built in drawers in the bed with 10 dog boxes on top and he called it an "outfit". Didn't bother me.
A mans got to know his limitations.

Down in SE Alabama, everyone says they are "on" their truck or car.

It’s the millennials trying to sound “hip” and make hunting sound like some form of racing. Stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. Only thing I use running on is something that actually runs. It is the hunting TV shows sounding like NASCAR. "I just smoked that deer, using my Matthews bow, with slick trick broadheads, mounted to arrows from basspro. You couldnt hear the string thanks to Shaw Strings. Not sure that deer would have stopped if wasn't for my deercane by whild bill, and the pictures from my Reconyx camera. We can find that deer in no time using my Batlight UV fashlight, and this app from scoutlook. I am sure glad I will be warm given this Under Armor carbon loaded, scent free vaper washed by Ozonics jacket......... etc
